New Video: Carbon-Copies (Explanation below)

My main reason for this video isn’t to really offend people and it wasn’t directed entirely at one group or a single individual, but the main focus was towards the Jeffree Star fan base.  Why am I speaking out?  Because for some reason, I attract people who don’t have a personality or face of their own but instead, hide behind the imprint of their idol’s identity and the majority of those who I attract are Jeffree Star fans.  And it gets really old.

My main message is that I want people to just be themselves.  I’m personally sick of feeling like I’m talking to different versions of Jeffree instead of intelligent individuals who wish to show who they are as themselves.

And in case you couldn’t tell, I HATE the word ‘fierce’ with every fiber of my being!

Copper Sparkle Pigment

I really need to start planning the pictures I take and need to start doing make-up on myself a whole lot neater!

A few nights ago, I decided to give Copper Sparkle pigment from MAC a test-drive since I received it as a gift from my friend Shayla (Thank you!!!) and I was baffled on what to do with it.  So what was the solution?  CUT-CREASE, baby!

I really liked how this came out and I’m going to revisit it so I can polish it up because it really is something else.  No products other than Copper Sparkle are worth mentioning however, just compository make-up.

Red Queen

Who could honestly resist having a ‘what if’ moment from the time you first saw the promo shot of Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen in the newest adaptation of Alice in Wonderland?  Or maybe I’m just weird like that..

Anyways – this was super fun to do and I was so shocked by the outcome that I couldn’t even keep a straight face when trying to take pictures of it.  There are really no products worth noting that I used, it was all extremely basic stuff.  The picture has been edited so that my real eyebrows are long gone, paled out my skin even more than it was for the desired effect, did the blood and the hearts in the background – which pretty much sums it all up.

Hope you find it interesting!

This look was all inspired by the new Colour Craft collection at MAC – which I really am not fond of, particularly the Colour Craft face chart.  Instead, I was more interested in portraying the three original colors, red, blue and yellow.  Overall, I like how it came out but what makes me mad is that my camera did this no justice beacuse in person it looks much more vivid.  I’m much more fond of applying colors that don’t nessisarily match up or look good together these days.  Makes me want to do the QOB Twitter Cut-Crease. Don’t understand why people think that matching up uneven colors is gross. Personally, they’re much more appealing on the eyes than most eyeshadow combination’s, kind of depressing how peoples’ only goals with make-up is just to enhance their appearance – live it, don’t just wear it!

Yes, I know I have facial hair going on. That shouldn’t distort my overall goal of just creating the look. I can honestly say I’m not that fond of wearing foundation anymore. Yes, it helps conceal but it’s summer time – lotion and a little powder to set it does wonders!

My main goal for this look was to come up with something that would stand out against a blue cupcake and even though blue and orange are opposites, I love how the two came together.  Not everything has to match completely.

I’ve never really used Cornflower pigment so I wanted to give it a go and I can honestly say I’m pretty satisfied with it.  It blends some-what decent and has a nice cover to it, not to mention I like how it looks with smokey eyes.

Thanks to Sour Candy for making this really nice edit from this look, I love how it came out!

HI EVERYONE!

It’s been so long since I bothered with posting anything on this and I feel a comeback coming on.  I just want to thank all the regular visitors now that I look at all my traffic, it means a lot that people kept on coming back.

ANYWAYS,

I’ve been feeling super creative lately in the makeup department lately and want to share (my mess) my one of the looks.  Now I’m a huge fan of jet black eye makeup but I was also influenced by MAC’s new Style Warrior collection.  Since I didn’t feel like doing the actual Style Warrior face chart, I thought ‘well, why not combine the two?’

Style Warrior 2

I wasn’t kidding when I said it was a mess. Ignore all the weird face ‘painting’, my internet was shut off and it was 3 in the morning so I really had a hard time visualizing a tribal look without the extreme facial modifications.  The lipstick was ‘Ravishing’ by MAC.

MAC Bang on Blue e/s

Oui, it was a real piece of work, but it was really fun!
